From summer pool parties to fall camping, or long road trips and anything in-between, chopped Italian sliders are the perfect on the road lunch. They’re so easy to prep ahead of time and thanks to your favorite Titan Cooler, they’re easy to keep cold and fresh for your next stop.
Total Time: 5 minutes Yields: 2-4 servings
Ingredients
- 2-4 rolls
- 2.5 cups of lettuce
- 6 slices of each: turkey, capicola, mortadella salami, provolone
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 white onion
- 1/4-1/3 cup mayo
- 2 tbsp hot hoagie spread
- 2 - 3 Tbsp olive oil and red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt/pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start with 2 big handfuls of lettuce (roughly 2.5 cups).
- Add 6 slices of each: turkey, capicola, mortadella salami, provolone.
- Add tomatoes and onions and start chopping.
- Once it gets a good rough chop, add in 1/4-1/3 cup mayo, a large spoonful of hot hoagie spread, 2/3 Tbsp olive oil and red wine vinegar, 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning and salt/pepper to taste.
- Continue chopping until everything is mixed well and chopped to your preference.
- Scoop it into a sub roll and enjoy!
